Color Management
The Color Management option feature in the Image Tools allows you to set ICC Profiles and use Color Correction and Replacement Technology. You can access this tool by clicking Image Tools > Color Management. This option is divided into three sections: Color Management The [Color Management] section lets you select the Profile you would like to use with your image. Use the drop-down arrow to select a profile. You can also select to use the Color Table by checking the [Use Color Table] option. The Color Table allows you to directly map named colors, such as PANTONE Colors, to your printer. This ensures the most accurate color. ICC Profile Setup To setup ICC profiles, click [Configure] button. This opens ICC Profile Setup dialog (Figure 2). Choose from any of the following tabs. Depending on your image, certain options may not be available. Profiles (Input Profiles) - An Input Profile corrects color shifts in the image file. Rendering Intents - Rendering Intents controls how a profile is applied and how the colors are mapped from one gamut to another. Color Correction Color Correction allows you to modify the color in your image. You can use either the [Basic Adjustments] or [Advanced Adjustments]. Basic Adjustments—This option allows you to modify the [Color], [Brightness], [Contrast], and [Saturation] in an image quickly. To use Basic Adjustments, click the [Basic Adjustments] button. This opens the “Image Color Correction” window (Figure 2). Use each color section or use [Amount] slider bar to change the color in your image. Use the [Brightness], [Contrast], and [Saturation] buttons to add or remove Brightness, Contrast, and Saturation. Click the [Original Image] section to reset your image to its original settings. Advanced Adjustments— This option allows you to modify the [Color], [Brightness], [Contrast], and [Saturation] in an image using precise controls. To use [Advanced Adjustments, click the [Advanced Adjustments] button. This opens the “Image Color Correction” window (Figure 3). Select which option you would like to modify by clicking the drop-down box. You can choose to modify [Color Balance], [Hue and Saturation], or[ Brightness and Contrast]. Each of these options include several slider bars and up-down arrow that you can use to modify your image. The two images on the right display your original image and your current image. Click [Reset] button to restore all settings to the original image. NOTE: This option is not available in all applications. Talk to your sales representative for more information on upgrading. Color Replacement [Color Replacement] allows you to replace one particular color in your image with another color. To use this option, click the [+] button. Using your cursor, select the color you want to replace. When the "Color Replacement" window opens (Figure 4), define your new color using each slider or select your new color. Color Correction

Color Replacement

[Color Replacement] allows you to replace one particular color in your image with another color.

To use this option, click the [+] button. Using your cursor, select the color you want to replace. When the "Color Replacement" window opens (Figure 4), define your new color using each slider or select your new color. Click the [ - ] button to remove an existing Color Replacement. To edit a color replacement, highlight a color, and click [Edit] button.
